The Lion – King Of The Jungle

We don’t need a description for Lion, they are most startling cats in this entire world. Elegant, beautiful and a thoroughly ferocious animal. I must say, Lions are good examples of male chauvinism :D Just kidding!!!

A very Happy New Year to all my dear friends, followers and everyone across this globe! Hope you’ve a great year ahead :)

Beauty Grows Here: A Glimpse of Indian Farm Fields

“Life on a farm is a school of patience; you can’t hurry the crops or make an ox in two days.” – Alain, Henri

Agriculture is the primary occupation in India. It provides almost 17% to 18% of the GDP in India and 50% of the total workforce. The crop that you see in the below photographs are – Cotton. I currently live in Andhra Pradesh and this state ranks 2nd in current growth rate of Cotton which is around 7.4 million bales. While the first place goes to Gujarat producing around 8.5 million bales.

The Farm Fields are such beautiful places to visit and think about the people living so close to nature all the time. The fresh breath of air and beautiful landscapes are a treat to watch. But villagers in India are extremely poor and illiterate. They live in a single room houses made of mud which often fall to the ground in the rains. In the way they are put to great hardship. In spite of their hard work they are not able to earn enough to provide themselves with even two square meals a day. The governments (both the ruling and opposition parties) have totally forgotten the real essence of India but have lost themselves in the world of corruption and scams.

Eyes Speak More Than Lips

“To any artist, worthy of the name, all in nature is beautiful, because his eyes, fearlessly accepting all exterior truth, read there, as in an open book, all the inner truth.” – Auguste Rodin

I always believe that “There is no better way to express your emotion than your eyes.”

During my recent visit to the Singur Village where these kids were so happily running around and playing. The amount of joy and innocence that I saw in them is no close to what we get, even we earn a million dollars. This kid especially had very beautiful eyes and I was very keen about his iris. I was thinking of a way to portray this in a special manner, so this is what I thought would suit the best. Let me know if you have any good ideas apart from this.

Also a big thanks for all the support and love that you people have been continuously showing towards my posts and blog. Cheers !!!

The Beauty of Bullock Carts

Bullock carts are one of the ancient means of transportation in the world. They are generally used for agriculture in India, which is one of the beautiful things of Indian Villages. This was taken near the Singur Village in Medak District, Andhra Pradesh.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Indian subcontinent is that everything is just so old. The Bullock Cart wheels also known as the Chakra is a representation of the Ashoka Chakra which is in turn a symbol of the Buddhist Dharmachakra. It is also depicted in the Indian National Flag. For the people who are not aware of these terms, please Google. This information is so beautiful you will understand the depth of the subject that I’m talking about.
